Call for Abstracts
GASI Conference Scholarships & Grants
A limited number of travel grants of up to $1,000 USD are available on a competitive basis for students and faculty members.
Student Travel Scholarships
To qualify you must be:
-
Currently enrolled as a student at the time of application, and
-
Enrolled full-time if you are an undergraduate student or at least part-time if you are a graduate student.
Student status will be verified before awards are granted. Travel awards granted for abstracts with multiple student authors will be shared by all students who present at the conference. Students submitting abstracts co-authored by faculty members (professors) must present solely at the conference. Preference will be given to first-time Scholarship recipients and to students submitting an abstract as sole author (versus abstracts with multiple authors). Additionally, only applications received by the original abstract submission deadline of November 1 will be considered.

Faculty Travel Grants
Two travel grants are available on a competitive basis for full-time faculty members who are presenting at GASI for the first time. Faculty must be first author on the abstract (i.e., the lead conference presenter) to qualify. Only applications received by the original abstract submission deadline of November 1 will be considered.
If you have questions about the Student Travel Scholarship or the Faculty Travel Grant, please submit your inquiry via the contact form found here.
